• Bar-Teen Program Summer 2008

Specialized programming for kids entering

 6^th-8^th grades




Offered exclusively at Mountainside and Bar-T Ranch

Some facts we thought you should know about this new program:

 
• Dave Bell- Director for Teen programming- will lead this program along with Fun/Experienced/Veteran staff that will be assigned to work with each group at Mountainside and the Ranch .
  
• Trips will be offered each week for additional cost.
  
• Trips offered will alternate between outdoor adventure and amusements.
  
• Overnights will be offered once per week for an additional cost.
  
• Overnights will be during the week and usually fall on the same day as the field trips to give them extra time when traveling. Kids will sleep in the Yurts at Mountainside. Bar-Teens from the Ranch will also sleepover at Mountainside and will return to the Ranch at the end of the following camp day.
  
• Each session will consist of multiple events so that the Teens from the Ranch and Mountainside can visit with each other for special events, tournaments, competitions, etc...
  
• Teens will have their own home base to meet for Team Time, store their belongings, eat lunch, chill out, and begin and end each day.
  
• Kids will experience teambuilding, leadership, and self-directed activities such as:
  
• Planning and leading special events and camp activities
  
• Teaming up with younger campers/groups as their BUDDIES and engaging in activities with them each week
  
• Planning and organizing their own daily schedule for the session.
