Kids Club
All Jobs Available for our Kids Club Programs
We currently have available many positions for our school year programs. Interviews are now underway. The work hours are generally 6:45 - 9:00 a.m. and/or 2:30 - 6:30 p.m. Monday - Friday. Great part time job for students!! Below you will find a list of all the open positions for the fall.
Assistant
Assitants need lots of enthusiasm for learning, playing and talking with children. Must be at least 16 years of age.
Assistant Group Leader
Assistant Group Leaders must be enthusiastic and have a love for children and learning. Must have high school diploma, be 19 years of age, and have the equivalency and 800 hours of work experience with school age children.
Group Leaders
Must have a high school diploma, be 19 years of age, have the 45- Hour School Age course or college coursework that pertains directly to school age children, and one year working experience with school age children. Of course the final requirement for this position is to have a great enthusiasm for working with children!!!
Pre-K
Pre-K Assistants must be at least 18 years of age and have experience working with younger children. Hours are 8:45-3:30, Monday-Friday. Duties include assistanting in planning of program, helping children with lessons, and set-up/clean-up of activities. Please call our office at 301-948-3172 for more information.
Program Director
Persons wishing to hold a Director's position with Bar-T Kids Club should have a great love for working with children. Our Directors supervise a staff of about 5-6 persons, on average. We look for hard working, enthusiastic individuals that want to further their career in child care.
Applicants must have the following:
- be 21 years of age or older
- have a degree in Early Childhood Edu. or Elementary Edu.
- have 1 year working experience with school age children
- experience directing a child care center a plus!!
Specialists
i.e. - computers, dance, karate, piano, etc.
If you have a special talent we would love to hear about it and possibly offer it to our kids.
