Camp CaringDo you know a grieving child? Bar-T and Hospice Caring want to help.

Each year, a number employees from Bar-T give up a weekend of their life to volunteer for a program called Camp Caring. This camp is put on completely free of charge by Hospice Caring, and is designed to help children who have recently suffered a loss in their life.

Camp Caring runs from Friday May 31st through Sunday June 2nd at the Skycroft Conference Center in Middletown Maryland. There campers are guided through a series of exercises designed to help them cope with their loss and to let them know that they aren’t alone. Each child is paired with a “Big Buddy” who is solely dedicated to helping them during this difficult time. Campers play games, make crafts, and have group sessions to learn how to manage their grief in a healthy way.

Bar-T is very proud to partner with Hospice Caring in putting on this wonderful camp. If you know a child who has recently suffered a loss in their life or if you just want to find out more about Camp Caring Click Here.
