Earth Day

Mark your calendars, on April 24 Bar-T will be having its first Earth Day Community Festival at Mountainside.  The festival will include.

• Free Admission and Parking
• Art Contest (open to grades k-8)
• Chorus Performances
• Moonbounce
• Ropes Course Games
• Local Earth-Friendly Businesses
• Tours (including nature walk & windmill)
• Tree Planting

Most activities will be Free (Tree planting, Moon Bounce, Games & Tours) but there will be a few items for purchase. 

Wrist bands for the ropes course will be available for $10 and will allow the wearer to try 4 elements.

There will be food for sale and proceeds will go to support local Boy Scouts.

Some vendors may have items for purchase.

So bring the family and out to Mountainside at 2914 Roderick Road, Urbana, MD 21704 from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00p.m. and get back to nature.  We can't wait to see you there.

Parking is limited in site, so attendees are encoraged to park at the Park N' Ride located at exit 26 off Interstate 270 and Maryland-80.  From there you can take the FREE shuttle to Mountainside.
