Sample Day

Launch- We begin and end each day with Launch and Team Time, Launch is when we go over announcements, talk about the goal of the day and we sing and dance to energize our campers. Team Time is the name of the afternoon session.  This is where we come together and recognize camper and group of the day, reminders about the plans for the next day and end with cheers and songs to leave all campers feeling great and wanting to come back for another fun filled day!
                                             
Music & Drama- Over the course of a session groups will visit Music & Drama a number of times to work on dances, singing, or improvisation. Campers will strut their stuff at Launch and Team Time. 
 

Arts & Crafts- Groups will visit Arts & Crafts two to three times a week., where they will complete theme based projects such as picture frames, painted dinosaurs, or masks to name a few.

 
Swimming- Swimming is one of our most popular activities at camp and the systems we have in place make it one of the safest as well. On the first day a camper goes to the pool they take a swim test. Swim tests may vary from pool to pool. When the child passes the swim test, he or she will be given a green wristband, which allows them to swim in any area of the pool. If they do not pass the test they are given a red wristband which allows them to swim only in the shallow areas of the pool.

Group Times- During each session the campers have group times. During these times the campers may use the game room, play different sports and games, play on the playground or spend time with the group creating chants and skits for Launch and Team Time.
 
 
Lunch- Camper's lunches are collected each morning and are placed in coolers until lunchtime. We suggest that parents pack a drink with their child's lunch, although water is always available. Please pack your child's lunch in a brown paper bag.
 
Popsicle Break- Every afternoon before Team Time each group has a popsicle break. Orange Cream and Fudge Bars are just a few of the options that the children have to enjoy.
 

Hours - The traditional camp day lasts from 9:00am till 3:30pm. If you need additional care, you can enroll in extended care.

Extended Care- Extended Care is offered daily and extends the day from 7:00AM until 6:30PM. Campers will enjoy a healthy snack, arts & crafts, games and the opportunity to relax if they wish.
