Bar-T Kids Club is the leader in before and after care for Montgomery County, Maryland. Since Joe and Nancy Richardson started the first program at Goshen Elementary over 20 years ago, we have been partnering with the public school system to provide children a safe and exciting place to spend their time before and after the bell. We currently service over 30 schools in Montgomery County.

What Makes Bar-T Different?

From the time children wake up in the morning and until the time they go to sleep at night, there are countless opportunities for children to learn and have fun. Our highly trained and experienced staff are constantly involved with the children in their care, and are always looking for those “teachable moments” in the clubs and activities we do to help children continuously learn and grow. Every day children are presented with choices of activities, snack, clubs, and more. By providing the child with a positive environment to work in, we can promote learning in a “fun” atmosphere.

We value the strong partnerships that we have with families, school administration, and other key members of the school community. Our programs are a natural extension of the school day and by treating each community individually, we are able to tailor our programs to ensure that they meet the specific needs of each school community.

There are many choices for before and after care. But only Bar-T provides the kind of well-rounded, enriching, choice based programming that children love and parents desire.

If you would like to learn more about our programs and how we can be part of your school, please contact Joe Richardson at (301) 948-3172. Find out today why Bar-T is where children excel beyond the bell.
