Kids Camp Dates & Rates
Bar-T is pleased to offer our Kids Camp programs in week-long sessions to help ensure that we are able to meet all of your family’s summer needs and your busy schedule. Although single weeks are available, we believe that the Bar-T camp experience is most complete when enjoyed in increments of two or more weeks!

End-of-Summer Kids Camp Location Updates
As several of our school locations prepare to close for the summer, Bar-T will continue offering camp and transportation options at select locations. Please review the updates below.
Wood Acres Kids Camp
- Final week on-site: July 27–31
- Final day at Wood Acres Elementary School: Friday, July 31
- Beginning August 3, Wood Acres will serve as a transportation stop only for families already enrolled at Bar-T Ranch.
- No Before Care or Extended Care will be available at Wood Acres after July 31.
- Bar-T Ranch is currently full for the remainder of the summer. Families still looking for camp may register for Ritchie Park Kids Camp, subject to availability. Transportation is not provided between Wood Acres and Ritchie Park.
Thurgood Marshall Kids Camp
- Final week on-site: July 27–31
- Final day at Thurgood Marshall Elementary School: Friday, July 31
- During Weeks 7 & 8 (August 3–14), campers enrolled in Thurgood Marshall Kids Camp will be transported at no additional cost to Poolesville Kids Camp for a full day of camp programming.
- Morning Drop-off: Thurgood Marshall Elementary School
- Bus departs promptly at: 8:20 AM
- Afternoon Pick-up: Thurgood Marshall Elementary School
- Bus returns at: 5:00 PM
- Parents must remain with their camper until the bus departs and be present to sign their camper out when the bus returns.
- No Before Care or Extended Care is available at Thurgood Marshall these weeks. Extended Care is available at Poolesville for families providing their own transportation.
Great Seneca Creek Kids Camp
- Final week on-site: August 3–7
- Final day at Great Seneca Creek Elementary School: Friday, August 7
- During Week 8 (August 10–14), campers enrolled in Great Seneca Creek Kids Camp will be transported at no additional cost to Poolesville Kids Camp for a full day of camp programming.
- Morning Drop-off: Great Seneca Creek Elementary School
- Bus departs promptly at: 8:10 AM
- Afternoon Pick-up: Great Seneca Creek Elementary School
- Bus returns at: 5:30 PM
- Parents must remain with their camper until the bus departs and be present to sign their camper out when the bus returns.
- No Before Care or Extended Care is available at Great Seneca Creek. Extended Care is available at Poolesville for families providing their own transportation.
Watkins Mill Kids Camp
- Final week on-site: August 3–7
- Final day at Watkins Mill Elementary School: Friday, August 7
- During Week 8 (August 10–14), campers enrolled in Watkins Mill Kids Camp will be transported at no additional cost to St. John’s Kids Camp for a full day of camp programming.
- Morning Drop-off: Watkins Mill Elementary School
- Bus departs promptly at: 8:00 AM
- Afternoon Pick-up: Watkins Mill Elementary School
- Bus returns at: 5:20 PM
- Parents must remain with their camper until the bus departs and be present to sign their camper out when the bus returns.
- No Before Care or Extended Care is available at Watkins Mill. Extended Care is available at St. John’s for families providing their own transportation.
Ritchie Park Kids Camp
- Final week of camp: August 3–7
- Final day of camp: Friday, August 7
- Ritchie Park Kids Camp closes for the summer after Friday, August 7.
Poolesville Kids Camp
- Poolesville Kids Camp remains open through the end of the summer.
- Final week of camp: August 17–20
- Please note: There is no camp on Friday, August 21, making this a 4-day camp week.
St. John’s Kids Camp
- St. John’s Kids Camp remains open through the end of the summer.
- Final week of camp: August 17–20
- Please note: There is no camp on Friday, August 21, making this a 4-day camp week.

Pricing
The rate for one week at Kids Camp is $285.
Extended Day options are available at all Kids Camps. Morning Extended Care opens at 7:00am and is $70/week. Afternoon Extended Care closes at 6:30pm and is $90/week.

Registration FAQs
Withdrawal and Enrollment Changes
Changes and cancellations to summer camp plans can be made without penalty through May 15th, 2026. After May 15th, a 50% refund will be issued for Bar-T Summer Camp cancellations made. Cancellations will also result in forfeiture of the $50.00 non-refundable portion of your deposit. No tuition adjustments will be made for missed sick days and no refunds will be given.
There are no fees for exchanging weeks or adding additional weeks of camp to your family’s registration and Bar-T is happy to accommodate these requests, at any time, provided that we have availability in the week(s) you wish to add.
