Bethesda Area Kids Camp (Wood Acres)

Bar-T Kids Camps combine the comforts and convenience of area schools with Bar-T’s tradition of running outstanding summer camps. Kids Camp operates on weekly sessions for children entering Kindergarten through the 8th grade.Our Kids Camp programs utilizes both the indoor and outdoor facilities of our host school to deliver a camp experience filled with crafts, music & dance, sports, games, STEM activities and exciting theme days. In addition to the activities that take place at our camp site, campers also enjoy swimming each week at an area pool.

Our Bethesda Area Kids Camp is offered in weekly sessions from June 22nd through August 7th. The rate for one week of Kids Camp is $285.

While our outstanding counselors ensure that there is no limit to the fun with a continuously evolving list of activities, we know that it can be helpful to see the types of activities that make up our camper’s days. These activities include, but are not limited to:

We plan to operate our Bethesda Kids Camp at Wood Acres Elementary. If MCPS construction or availability requires a change, families will be notified and the camp will move to another suitable school within the Bethesda area.

The Bar-T camp day begins at 9:00am and ends at 3:30pm. Because there is not bus transportation for Kids Camps, campers need to be dropped-off at our location and checked-in by a parent or guardian. We open the daily check-in process at 8:45am and campers are dismissed promptly at 3:30pm.

For families that need coverage beyond the camp day, we offer extended care options that allow campers to arrive as early as 7am and stay as late as 6:30pm. This extended care option is offered on a weekly basis and families can choose between morning extended care, afternoon extended care, or morning & afternoon extended care.
