Mountainside Transportation & Extended Care

Transportation

Mountainside provides bus transportation to and from camp each day  for $50/week. A Bar-T staff member meets our families at each of our transportation sites and rides the bus to and from camp to help ensure our camper’s safety. Bar-T staff will arrive 10 minutes prior to the scheduled bus departure to check our campers in and answer any questions parents may have. We ask that our parents remain on site until after the bus has departed to help ensure everyone’s safety. Our staff will help make sure that our campers reach their group with a smile on their face each morning and will remain at the transportation site each afternoon until all campers have been picked up.

Busses generally depart their transportation site between 8:00am and 8:45 each morning (depending on location) and usually arrive back in the afternoon between 3:45pm and 4:15pm. Click on a bus-stop below and it will provide you with our current bussing times.

Mountainside provides before and after camp extended care for families that need coverage beyond our normal camp hours. Extended care is provided at the following locations:

• At Mountainside
• Snowden Farm Elementary
• Great Seneca Creek Elementary
• Poolesville Baptist Church
• Lakewood Elementary
• Thurgood Marshall Elementary

Our morning extended care costs $60 per week and allows families to drop off as early as 7:00 a.m. each morning. Our afternoon extended care costs $80 per week and allows families to pick up as late as 6:30 p.m. each afternoon. Campers who attend Extended Care will not be charged a transportation fee.
